Meet Dr. Lary
Dr. Laurel Lary is an organizational leader with three decades of operational experience across school site, district, and county education levels. She has successfully led major change initiatives, managed multi-million-dollar project and program budgets, and spent the last decade focused on career education and workforce development. This depth of operational experience — further solidified by her consulting work and complemented by her current role as an elected Governing Board Director — uniquely positions her to guide leaders through complex conversations and important decisions with clarity, rigor, and the confidence that comes from having led from the inside.
Dr. Lary understands what leaders are carrying — the competing priorities, the stakeholder dynamics, the weight of consequential decisions — because she has carried them herself. Her role as a facilitator is to guide a group toward shared vision and clarity, building understanding across the room and moving everyone forward together with direction and confidence.
Her career includes work designing and facilitating professional development, large-scale convenings, and multi-stakeholder gatherings. That experience shapes every engagement: the question architecture, the pacing, the ability to read a room and adapt in real time.
